Privacy

Filed Nearby is a public-records product. We store the email you give us, the address and radius you search, and the filings we emailed you. That is enough to send a report, run a watch, and let you sign in with a magic link.

We do not scrape personal phone numbers from city files. We do not sell lead lists, contractor directories, or marketing audiences. We do not build profiles of neighbors beyond the public filing itself.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Email is sent by Resend. Hosting is typically Vercel. Those processors see what they need to deliver the service.

Geocoding uses the U.S. Census Bureau locator, with OpenStreetMap Nominatim as a fallback. Permit geometry comes from the City of Portland's public ArcGIS services.

To delete an account, email the address you used at checkout to privacy@filednearby.com. We will remove stored reports and watches associated with that inbox.
